For your amusement, I present to you A Short Conversation With Bruce Campbell:

Bruce: Hey, Dave, how's it going?
me (shaking Bruce's hand): Pretty good, Bruce. How about you?
Bruce: Good, good. Busy night.
me (about to ask how he felt being one of the last actors to work with Ossie Davies): Y--
Bruce (pointing to my iPod remote): Is that an iPod?
me: Yeah...
Bruce (signing my book): My wife loves hers. Have you taught it to walk yet?
me: Uh, no, not yet...
Bruce: Ha! All right, take care, Dave!

Bruce was doing a signing at the Manulife Centre Indigo store. I went over at around 5:30 pm, a good half-hour before he was scheduled to appear. I would have liked to have gotten there earlier, especially after I saw the line up. It snaked its way around all of the downstairs floor.

Bruce came out and did a short Q and A session with us for about half an hour, which was very entertaining, then got to signing some books. I managed to get mine signed and leave the store at 8:58 pm. In hindsight, I probably should have brought my copy of Bubba Ho-Tep along to get signed, too.
